Teriyaki Marinade and Baste

Ingredients

 

1/2 c. olive or peanut oil
2 T. grated fresh ginger
2/3 c. Japanese soy sauce
2 garlic cloves (finely chopp or use garlic press)
1/4 c. sherry
1 T. grated orange (preferably tangarine) rind

 

Directions:

 

Combine ingredients.

I use this marinade frequently for sirloin tips, flank, or flatiron steaks.
