In September 2010, we made Austin our home. Our backyard has the most amazing live oak tree and lots of garden to play with. Here are a few photos. With a year round growing season, what could be more fun!

Everywhere around downtown Portsmouth you will see lush window boxes gracing shops and homes. Several years ago, I traveled around our corner of New England studying window boxes in the hope that I would discover exactly the right combination of plantings for our home.
